I live in North Texas near my family. Nothing comes before fun with the grandchildren, but when work time comes, writing and reading have equal priority. I began writing after my children were born and enjoy the time spent playing with words and plots. My high school English teacher called enjoyable reading "bubble gum for the eyes." In keeping with that philosophy, I'm happiest when making stories intended for others to enjoy. My Echo Falls, Texas series was my first published series, is still ongoing, and remains popular with readers.
